The New Republic of Dor Anga Lopolde Edhel

Starting us off in this article, we travel to the former country of Myth Dranor. Various elves are scattered about, enjoying day to day life. A crowd is gathering, as an Inspector O’Harrier takes stage on a podium to address the citizens.

"Hello, citizens. As you well know, we have made fantastic strides in rebuilding the kingdom after the desolation caused by civil revolt against the monarchy and the governing council. This revolution was a product of systemic racism that festered at the heart of Myth Dranor's government, economic disparity caused by centuries of abuse of power in both the public and private sector, and an underlying disdain flowing through our legal system. While it is true that the revolution was instigated and funded by the external country of Ahm, Myth Dranor left plenty of openings for them to exploit in their attempt to usurp us and gain control of the Mithril trade. But this is a rare opportunity, one that many countries do not often get. With the decimation of the previous ruling structure, we have an opportunity to rebuild everything from the ground up. Each of the various impromptu elected community leaders that make up Myth Dranor have congregated here today to speak on behalf of their people. We have discussed in depth and through heated debate about how best to proceed, we have decided that we are going to make full use of this clean break. As of now, we are restructuring our governing body to no longer follow a monarchy. Instead, we will follow in the footsteps of political philosopher Jefferson Washington, and restructure as a Democracy. This means that every 20 years, we will hold elections to assign representatives to our government. The exact details of our governing structure will be outlined in our new constitution, helpfully drafted by all of us here, in addition of the help of long time legal expert and democratic revolutionary, Hammurabi."

The camera pans over to a desiccated looking old man, with the bearing of a war vetern. Many wounds cover his visage, including several missing fingers and a long gone eye. One could almost mistake him for some kind of undead, if he was not steadily audibly breathing through a hole in his neck.

"This constitution, once complete, will be kept on display for the public to see, in addition to copied down and distributed to all citizens who wish to possess one. in addition, in the interests of making a clean break, we have tallied up the votes for the name of this new country. While Myth Dranor came in third for this vote, we will keep the name dear to our hearts as both a memory and a lesson. The winner of the naming contest, to my chagrin, is the new Republic of Dor Anga Lopolde Edhel. As that is a bit mouthy I expect most people will abbreviate it to the Republic of Dale. For our next matter today, it is with great honor and responsibility that after last weeks elections, I have been officially nominated as president of our new republic. I will promise to serve to the best of my ability and protect the interests of all who call this land home. Finally, I am here to inform you of our plans regarding current foreign policy. Given the nature of Ahm's previous interference, and Cormyr's ability to inflict undue influence, we are currently seeking to have the republic officially recognized as a member of the United Kingdoms. This should provide us with the support we need to stand against encroachment from other countries while we rebuild our defense infrastructure, while limiting the scope of political interference and maintaining our independence. We are also reaching out to our long distant island cousins for additional support as we continue to rebuild. That is all on todays docket, I hope each and everyone of you has a wonderful day today"

Many in the crowd cheer at the news of this change, many of whom are dark elves who have seen significant new representation and power within the governing structure. While others remain skeptical of the future of this budding government, often high elves. Regardless, it appears that much of the population is at least excited at the possibility of political change and increased agency in government.

In two separate alleyways are spies overseeing the proceedings. one is a Goobshire agent here to maintain intel on the developing situation, the other is a young Spectre agent, here to search for Zacan as well as clean up any additional loose ends that could lead to Cormyr's involvement in the revolution and erase as many leads regarding the purple dragon knights escape trajectory. After the address, they make to leave, only to be stopped by Hammurabi and Harrier, each teleporting in. After a struggle, both spies are then captured, and taken away for interrogation.
