Solar Dragons

Solar Dragons are massive serpentine dragons that traverse the depths of space. Ancient members of this species are capable of casting the Wish spell once per day, while their elder can cast it at will.

Genetics and Reproduction

Once in a very long time all the solar dragons gather at the sun of the Lega system and the elder dragon, Maccatto, determines who may mate. Each parent lays an egg. The whole process is called the Writhing by onlookers.

Ecology and Habitats

Solar dragons are space-faring and are not usually found in terrestrial, aquatic, or aerial habitats

They're filter feeders, consuming space dust in their long journies around the cosmos.

Solar dragons collect and hoard knowledge in crystals tended to by golem librarians. New or rare information is highly valued by them.
