House of Tezca

The dwarven kingdom in Mezteca. Focuses less on smithing and more on stoneworking, although jewelry work is also a well-respected craft. In fact, they have legends involving Nirkas and Tarchta, twin sisters who would dispense magical jewelry to heroes- the jewelry was sometimes enchanted, sometimes cursed. Variations on the legends hold that one sister gives cursed jewelry and the other uncursed, but the stories never agree which is which.

House of Tezca dwarves turn to stone as they age, and these elders are treated with great reverence and as a sort of living library, keeping the histories of their clans.
