A letter, left on the table of a wizard’s apartment:

Dear Chrissa and Gwyn,

I want to thank you for all the help you’ve given me over the past few days. Truly, this has been one of the best weeks of my life, and I’ll treasure the memories into whatever comes next. 

But it has also become clear to me that my presence is putting you in danger, which I refuse to continue to do. I’m leaving to find a shelter that puts fewer innocents at risk. 

Thank you again for the bed, the food, the coffee, and the conversation.
