Dietary Needs and Habits

Neeps have a dite strikingly similar to that of Human. Being meat-loving omnivores, most will seek out a balanced diet but feel cheated if they have to eat too many meals without the flesh of some sort of animal. Likewise, the vast majority of neeps prefer their meals cooked.   Where they differ from Humans is that they are able to gain some nutritional value from grasses and similar plants; Though this is seen as a mark of poverty. Unlike sheep, however, they cannot gain all they need from grass alone and will slowly wither away if that is all they have to eat.   In many of their cultures, Neeps make a point of eating sheep to show outsiders not to consider them as such.

"Call me a sheep once more and I'll chew your fingers off."
