The Aahliads were a wide group of people who helped bring back civilization to the world after the success of the Bringers. Sadly their lust for control led the majority of their number to become monsters, many of which still roam the world to this day.
While many of their original structures were intentionally built underground out of fear of catastrophe. The remains of their structures were forced underground by their successors.
It is not uncommon to find Aahliade structures sealed and warded to isolate what lies inside them from the rest of the world. Great caution should be invited when making the decision of whether you want to break these.
