Aidlamkava Tree

A species of giant, sentient, feywild tree. The followers of Lady of the Fallen Sky believe them to be the souls of the Lady's children who have sought to rest beside her. The trees of Alderglass have a hierarchy in which they seem to surround, follow, and protect, a tree known as Arael (translating to "Heart" in elvish).

The trees are known to migrate of their own accord using large hooked thorns that jut out of their roots. This is referred to as "Thorny Skies" by the citizens of Alderglass.
