In addition to being featured prominently in the Anavotchkan national anthem "O Albatross Fly Free!", the Anavotchkan Albatross is a popular motif in Anavotchkan artwork. It is commonly used to decorate Anavotchkan porcelain and children are taught how to make origami albatrosses in school.
The Dance of the Albatross, is the national dance of Anavotchka. Dancers attach the corners of a long white scarf to their wrists that hangs from their arms and behind their back, representing an Albatross's wings.
