Prince Alexi

Alexi, at ten, is earnest in his interactions but remains cautious and timid. His affectionate nature is buried under layers of conflict and traum from the loss of his parents and his precarious position within the palace. As a perfectionist, he meticulously attempts to meet every expectation, haunted by the fear of making a mistake. Traumatised by his past and current demands of his life, he is constantly second-guessing himself, anxious and desperate for some reprieve or kindness amidst the chaos of royal life.

Alexi is the nephew of the Tzar Vadim Kazimir, who was brought to live at the Winter Palace as an infant after his parents, the Duke and Dutchess of Ghorek, were executed as traitors.
