Matteus Barlow
Matteus Barlow (a.k.a. Matt, Matteo)
Matt is the loves interest of the main character Nocturne. He is a human caught up in the werewolves path and suddenly gets involved in the midst of a human - werewolf war. He is a normal farmer living with his sister and mother, struggling to get by every day. They lost the father to a disease that spread across the land at that time. Matt wasn’t voluntary but now that he knows the inner workings of this war he participates, on the werewolves side.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Matt works on a farm and therefore is very strong. He is of the more muscly body type and tall in proportion too that. He has no real sickness aside from maybe depression or a feeling off being trapped by invisible chains of responsibility.
Body Features
Golden skin from working out in the sun. Muscles from hard work and gets blacker stubb when not shaved.
Facial Features
Darker eyebrows than hair and shaves to be rid of stubb and greasy beard. Rounded shapes on an edged face structure.
Physical quirks
Walks like a farmer and has a strength he often forgets about as it is for normal everyday chores. An artists eye and subconsciously observes his surroundings for beauty and imperfections.

His clothes is usually dirty and worn with a few holes here and there that his mom has tried to fix, also stitches where a hole has been patched.

Usually walks around with an axe or a hammer.

Personal history
Matt grew up in the farm, he left it with his father as a small boy to go into the city but hasn’t generally seen the world. Wants to travel the world and catch the beautiful pieces in art.
His father died in unhealth and left the family to suffer, with no economical help. As the man in the family Matt was forced to shoulder the responsibility of the family in an early age and fights to give his sister the life she wants before himself.
Deeply appreciates his moms hard work but can’t really be happy about it either, dreams of getting away from the farm but is tied down by family.

Matt has always worked on the farm and simply had no time for public school.
Employment
Matt is a worker on his own family’s farm, he’s the man on the farm so he gets the thoghest jobs.
Mental Trauma
Lost his father who teached him to be a better man, he always promised Matt a better life and encouraged them to dream and work for what they wanted.
He feels like he carries the responsibility of his family because he’s the only man and therefore feels bound down in life by that.

Matt has always been creative just as his mother and sister. He’s an artist, a painter though and not very musically oriented though he can enjoy music too.

His mother fostered him to give people a chance to prove themselves, that there is more under the surface which many hide behind. Has clear opinions about the rights and wrongs in the world though.

He does what is needed off him and always for the best of his family. Very blunt and curt in answers, only says what’s needed and doesn’t bother with being nice.

Likes the nature and painting, notices the beauty and imperfections of the surroundings. Great with pets though he doesn’t especially bond with anyone.

He’s very curt in his speaking and doesn’t bother with niceties. Has a very hoarse gruff voice at times as he doesn’t speak much and talks like a farmer with drawn together words and such.
