Phairoux, the Exiled God

The Creator of the World

In the beginning, Phairoux formed the world from dust, and gave it to his sister, Aiatali, as a gift. She saw the world was cold and dead, and so she breathed upon it, and from her breath sprung life, which called itself Ayun. From Ayun sprung Rheyir, the Destroyer, for nothing can live which cannot die, and nothing can be created which cannot be destroyed. Ayun and Rheyir ran away together, and Aiatali's heart broke.

Phairoux's Exile

Phairoux, who loved his sister more than all the things they had encountered in their eternity together, took Aiatali's heartbreak from her. From her tears and her heartbreak, he made Uas, who is the seas and the oceans, but Aiatali was not satisfied. She tore the world apart looking for Ayun, and in so doing banished Phairoux to a land far from her, with Uas always between them. Phairoux's rage spilled upon the soil, and from his rage sprang beasts great and terrible, which stalk the deserts and rocky places of Phairoux's Exile.   See also: Aiatali, Ayun, Rheyir the Destroyer, @uas
