An Insatiable Thirst for Knowledge

Galton was born of Dendera and Lenore, inheriting the curiosity of both, and became quickly the patron of the collectors of knowledge in mortal societies.

The Eolaisreif

There was once a mortal who sought Galton aid in their quest for perfect knowledge. The name and description of this mortal are the only information that Galton will not disclose to anyone. After years of sacrifices, rituals and prayers, Galton took pity on this mortal and sent enough essence through the barrier to speak to them. He led them through study for years on end until they passed a point at which they could no longer understand.

His favoured mortal became frustrated as by now their mind could neither contain any more nor would it be at even this capacity for many more years, and, in a moment of sadness, Galton created the Eolaisreif to allow full comprehension of the multiverse to a mere mortal. Unbeknownst to Galton, the power to do such a feat was beyond that of a mere mortal, and when his disciple placed the circlet he offered on their head, they were overcome and died. The constellation Menneres was made in their honour by Lenore on Galton's request.

Galton has a deep, but soft voice though he speaks with absolute confidence when a thing is known to him. He tends to overtell stories or information if asked, and many have been bored silly and forgotten the information they asked about.
