Asclen
Lifebearer
Asclen came to being with the advent of life generally, but gained significant power when mortals were placed on Mitvort and Baladen.
Background
Asclen is a god of Life, though especially after Eliser's rise to godhood, he tends to focus on the connection between living things, and the protection of those connections. Asclen has been a god of healing for as long as mortals have had the werewithal to seek such guidance, and a patron of sorts to other social animals like wolves. Asclen was one of the last children of Ild and Vayren, born around the time that the gods placed life in the material planes.
WorshipThose who worship Asclen in the modern day tend to focus on the healing aspect, and have created the Asclendaighs that dot Mitvort and the few mortal settlements on Baladen. In these houses, the specialty is potions and cures for ailments rather than mortal wounds or end of life care. These houses are also often places of marriage outside the Inveran Empire as well as more commonly meternity wards than Elsendaighs.
