Nathaniel was born as Raven and ended up getting pregnant by accident when she was a teenager. Nathaniel hated his father, as he would often insult and gaslight Nathaniel, and constantly accuse Raven of cheating as Nathaniel looked nothing like him. Nathaniel was happy when his father left(died), even though it meant Gerhardt would grow up without a dad, but having no dad is better than having a deadbeat dad.
