Tveirre

Tveirre is a large terrestrial planet with four continents and numerous islands. Blue oceans cover around 70% of its surface, and there are ice caps at the poles. The planet has two moons, Aem and Abode. Aem is pale and lifeless, its surface scarred by numerous impact craters. A great gash along Aem's face is said to be punishment from some past transgression, although the details of the story vary. Less is known about Abode, which is smaller and much harder to see. Some believe Abode is where the gods take residence.   Much of the planet is or has been inhabited by sentient species, but wars and celestial events have decimated whole continents in the past and a recent war threatened to end what was left of civilization. Known as the Century War, the Lich War or to some the Last War, it started as a conflict between elves and dwarves and escalated when the conflict spilled over into human territories. When the war awakened a dormant lich of unimaginable power, the war turned from a chaotic brawl into a fight for survival.   Somehow, the war eventually ended. Civilization still existed, and slowly began to recover. Gone were the elves and the dwarves, and the world felt dimmer without the beauty they brought.
