    Era of Darkness
    Metaphysical / Paranormal event

    The Era of Darkness immediately follows the events of the Unraveling. The era is named for the mysterious disappearance of all magic from the land for a period of about 300 years. The lack of magic was devastating to the Cidian Empire, experiencing an immediate power vacuum after all the elite in their floating cities crashed to the earth and having significant causalities.   This time is also represented by great famine, spreading of disease, decline of trade, increased instability, and mass migrations away from urban centers.

    Orc Wars
    Military action

    The Orc Wars were a series of battles and skirmishes which occurred in the now northern parts of Orlond. The Wars were a military contest between humans and orcs over territorial expansion.   The Orc Wars were won by the new human civilization of Orlond, due to the union of the nearby human settlements and the reappearance of magic once more. The remaining Orc Hoard was pushed further north, beyond the Stonemarch Mountains.

    Realm of Orlond
    Founding

    The Realm of Orlond was founded after the Orlond Concord, where the local human settlements banned together to fight back the Orc Hoards to the north.

    Rule of the Frigid Tyrant
    Disaster / Destruction

    Piterryss the White Dragon attacks Orlond from the north, establishing his new lair in the Stonemarch Mountains and ruling over his new territory for half a decade. He amasses great wealth and grows fat by his subjects.   The White Tyrants reign ends when Irsynth the Braveheart, a Bronze Dragon bands together with local militia to take back Orlond.

    Kingdom of Orlond
    Founding

    The Kingdom of Orlond is established to better the realm under the leadership of the monarch. Orlond begins construction on new government buildings, temples, and defensive structures to better the land and its people. Prosperity is brought to the realm as the economy booms, trade is plentiful, and the population begins to increase.

    The Sacking of Mytha La'alus
    Military action

    Over the course of multiple days and battles, a significantly sized Orc Horde raided and sieged the Arituvae Vandor and the Elven city of Mytha La'alus and its surrounding settlements. The Orcs outnumbered the Elven people, forcing the children of Corellon to escape to their neighbor Orlond for refuge. The Orcs ransacked everything the Elves loved, created, and tended to, leaving nothing but ruins in their wake.

    The Siege of Cristor Werk
    Military action

    Similarly to the sacking of Mytha La'alus a few hundreds year before, the Orc Horde crashes against the Mountain Dwarf forces of the city of Cristor Werk. The Orc invaders captured the city for themselves and forced the Dwarves to flee to Orlond. It is believed that the Orcs still live in the stronghold today, using it as their main settlement to raid and plunder the surrounding lands.
