Industry & Trade
Willowdale's major industries include forestry, lumber, and wood products along with produce, grains, and meat. The town acts as the central point of trade for the area, allowing nearby villages and hamlets to sell their goods to the craftspeople and merchants.
Fancy Peach - The largest general store in town for supplies and merchandise, owned and operated by Kerowyn Hucrele (female human).
Whispering Furnace - The more renown blacksmith shop in town, capable of repairing and forging arms and armor, along with the necessary tools and necessities of the locals. The shop is owned by Rurik Lutgehr (human male).
Ol' Boar Inn - The oldest and most established inn and tavern in town, with food, alcohol, and a few rooms available for wary travelers. Garon (male human) is the owner and barkeep.
Guilds and Factions
Farmer's Alliance - The largest guild in the region, representing the agricultural sector of the economy. The guild assists in the storage, transportation and whole sale of the goods produced by its members. Through the guild, the food produced in the area reaches far and wide throughout Orlond.
Timberjacks - One of the logging and lumber guilds representing the forestry sector. The guild oversees the entire production line of lumber production, from chopping trees, to milling planks, and selling wood.
Ironoak Carvers - The other logging and lumber guild in the region and competitor to the Timberjacks. In addition to wood cutting and milling, the guild is known for crafting woodworks, furniture, and other wood-based necessities.
Relics & Antiquities Emporium - This archeologically focused guild explores the lost ruins of the Sorrowbound Wood in search of its history and lost items. While it is the smallest guild in Willowdale, its also one of the more wealthy guilds given its huge donor support. The guild often is favored by adventurers and mercenaries for finding work.
Restful Solis - The largest temple in town dedicated to Pelor. The stone building faces eastward toward the rising sun and is recognized by its large, stained glass sun above its front doors. The priest of the temple often traverse the surrounding farmlands to bless the crops every spring.
Spring Bloom - The temple dedicated to Corellon is built out of white stones with two large, royal blue banners depicting the holy symbol of Corellon waving in front.
Lunar Crest - The temple dedicated to Sehanine is the smallest of the temples in town. Those who seek proper marriage ceremonies often do so under the arches of the temples front stoop.
Raven's Call - The temple dedicated to the Raven Queen. The bodies of the dead are taken to the temple to perform the necessary preparations for funerals. The large central chamber is open to the sky, allowing for the funeral pyre smoke to escape and the spirit to find its final home.
