Hybrid lifeforms can be found all over Turian's World. And almost all of them are artificial.

"The hybrids must be split into two distinct categories: Species and Chimeras.
To qualify as a species a hybrid must be able to procreate within its own species and such offspring must also be viable to do so.
There are hybrids that can only procreate with one or more of the species it is made up from. That kind of hybrid is called semi-species. Of course, there are hybrids that can't procreate at all, which makes them a chimaera, a construct of magical origin."
