Thieves' Honor Tavern

One time at the 'Honor I saw two whalin' men playin cards when one of em - a big motherfucker - flips the table an' hollers out CHEATER!  Cards and Saldorian Red everwhere. The barkeep slides right up, two mugs of Captain's Stock in hands, an' next thing you know they's trading tricks n' cheats like ol' friends. I'm tellin ya, that's why I keep comin back here - place is the the calm in the fuckin storm.
- Luzo, Bosun of The Homecoming

Purpose / Function

The Thieve's Honor Tavern was built by the first settlers of Toltsuei Island. It remains a focal point where pirates, outcasts, and sea-men of all types gather for an ale and a story upon making port.

Alterations

The bar has been built up considerably, with financial investment from Captain Nazu, the Shark of the Southwater  and others of the The Unforgiven Bastards . Multiple side rooms off the main hall have been built up to serve as enclaves and meeting places for people of specific trades.

Architecture

The main structure consists of an abandoned fort that had been repaired and re-purposed when it became the Thieve's Honor. The thatched-roof additions off the main structure are made from bamboo, driftwood, or salvage from wrecked ships.

History

Once a Saldorian fort, the tavern has changed hands many times over the last 50ish years, without any particular name. The sturdy stone architecture makes it a rather reliable and safe hideout in a region often stricken by hurricanes and torrential rain. When Captain Nazu, the Shark of the Southwater discovered it, he saw it as the perfect place to set up a home base and neutral zone for sailors in the embattled Gulf of Fenma. Nazu pays a few particularly skilled fighters to keep order, especially while he's off on-voyage.
