Yorgen Reef

Purpose / Function

The caverns of Yorgen Reef have served as a connection to an existence outside of this world or the next. This connection causes a cult to form around it every couple of centuries, as the entity calls out from its prison and attempts to enter this world. The last cult leader was Arild Hylde, who was promised eternal youth and life in exchange for regular sacrifices to the creature, as well as allowing his body to become the womb for two of the creature's seed.
The cavern is home to a number of strangely organic constructions which serve as housing for the converted fishlike members of the cult. A temple has also been built, which is accessed by the cavern.

Alterations

Hylde ordered the construction of his chapel upon the gaping maw into the underground. A truly sick individual, it is said that he enjoyed hearing the screams of the prisoners in the cages. When they went quiet he ordered one of them killed or converted, to raise the anxiety of the others.
