Geography

Australia in this time is not the same Australia that it was known for in the 2050s, in the few hundred years that had been, the ocean levels had risen and leveled out at 145 meters. Creating a lush area that had once been a desert, creating an inland sea and a boom of life that originally never would have survived there. The change in climate also changed the weather, causing rain to frequent further south with the inland sea. Otherwise, the trash that was leftover after the war End War is a significant detail of the land, and whole areas are left like a wasteland of plant life. Being kept as smaller grasses and bushes, but they will struggle.

Ecosystem

This interruption caused a re-imagined version of Australia, rain forests far further west then the originals and the deserts pushed to the west. Temperate forests were established with the north being the primary lush area with the west the dryest.
Animals didn't have time to evolve to the change and so they had to start right from De-extinction attempts, as many got wiped out during the End War Some did survive that time, many avian birds, namely far travelers such as ducks. Though they did change a bit from the original. Rodents also did wonderful in that time and many herbivores. Many had to have a specific diet, one of that required as little as possible and that meant smaller animals did far better.
Beyond that, however many animals were brought back far before humans were, establishing the environment in a similar sense to previous. Some extinct species were also brought back for their new chance at left before humans returned once again. The famed Tasmanian Tiger was one of them, as scientists had always wanted to De-extinction them but ethics lead to an understanding that they had to care for what was currently alive but this restart in life allowed for that thought process to be ignored. After all, none of them would be around to affect the animal further, also a shame. This in essence had finally given Australia their one main apex predator back, estimated to be able to keep Australia in balance with Dingos to the mountain of herbivores.
