The History of Trosilin so far
I mean, there's a lot.
The people who built the first city are known for their titular city, from which the rest of Trosilin civilization is said to originate. They were wiped out due to a massive earthquake, which ripped the continent into two halves connected only by a narrow landbridge.
Current Species & Cultures
First we have the Tolinn culture on the Western half of the continent, which are known specifically for being incredibly religious. On the same half, you can find a culture of tundra-dwelling people, and a small folk of mountain people who live high up in the mountains
In the East, the dominant culture is the Yones culture, which is extremely tradition-oriented and rigid. Here too we see a culture of mountain-dwellers, and an extremely minor, almost extinct culture organized around weaving and husbandry
Needs & Relations
The Tolinn culture wants expansion, though the ways to go about this are various.
The Yones culture wants stagnation, wants everything to stay the same, and will do anything to protect its territory, and preemptively sees the other cultures on the continent as threats to their security.
The mountain-dwelling people on both halves of the continent are desperate for resources. The East has proved to be a fearsome band, stealing and pillaging, while the West is proving to be more of an annoyance.
The weaving culture is fighting against the destruction of their lands and to protect their heritage from dying out.
The tundra-dwelling people are also fighting agianst the relentless expansionist attacks from one side while trying to make pacts with a more benevolent expansionist agenda.
