Golden Silk Worm

It is highly prized by merchants and sericulturists of the area because of the silk's softness, tensile strength, and its coloring capabilities. These traits make Golden Silk Worm silk highly desired and valued by the elites of Kalbela, who will pay handsomely for garments derived from them.

Growth Rate & Stages

Egg Stage- Six Months.   Larvae Stage- Four and Half Years. The larvae spend up to four years eating until it reaches peak weight (between four and five and half ounces) at which point they will begin producing silk to enter their Adult Stage.   Adult Stage- Six Months.
