Sun Flowers

Sunflowers are native of primarily to Ignis, and are well known for their restorative and heart-warming nature.  The common sunflower can grow for 3-15ft tall and the petals grow rather wide! These flowers are valuable for bee harvests, and for ornamental decorations. They are loved for their vibrant shades of yellow, and edible seeds. But most of all, they are loved by worshippers of Pelor.    Pelor is said to have gifted the Sunflower to people to remind them that something is always leading the way to him, and that their is brightness in the world. This is because sunflowers tend to face the sun. Those who worship this god of light and agricuture often planted wide expanses of the beautiful yellow plant.    Sunflowers are also utilised in making oils, dyes, and of course decoration.

    Anatomy

    The beautiful flower have a wide yellow petal spread, and as opposed to pollen in their bulbous middle area, they have dark brown or black seed.

    Growth Rate & Stages

    They grow well in the summer most, can thrive in Spring but tend to wilt in Winter and Autumn Seasons.

    Ecology and Habitats

    Sunflowers thrive in sunny and open environments, and that is why they are often grown in large fields similar to wheat or vegetables.
