Session 46: I Guess That's Why I Fell in Love With You

General Summary

As night had fallen over Ignis, Caz and Maddison had quietly made their way down a long secret hallway in the Draconas Castle. They would banter and explore, and Caz would practice his speech for what would be a big day upon sunrise. Then he bidded her goodnight...
When the 30th day of Summer began, Falcon Claw was alive and full of noise. But some awoke in Estorra. Zilla had woken up surrounded by torn drapes, feathers from pillows, and scattered notes. His nightmares had clearly drove him wild in his sleep. Axel had quietly left Kallie's room after comforting her the night before with his quiet company, managing to Meow at a curious Michael, and faking Kallie's voice to deter the half-elf from coming in the room. When the tabaxi climbed out the window, Kallie had quietly thanked him. Soon enough, Axel, and everyone else made their way to Faclon Claw for their ally and friend's coronation. Caspian and Anton had made a quick trip to pick up Sarah, Elizabeth, Tim, and Sarah's youngest from Calmar, in hopes that they would attend the coronation. Zilla was sure to sto[p at Pearl's Potions to give Pearl some news about her mother, and invite her to the coronation.
Soon enough, everyone had gathered in the front yard of the Draconas castle. Axel had been stressed over music, but switly began playing a beautiful tune with a band and Lillith as his support. Others had gathered at the fron to be his audience, while Beau had found a balcony in the castle to observe quietly across from Tyrone Walsh on another balcony. When the public pured in from the streets of Falcon Claw, Caspian had made his way to the atirwell above them all. He would go on to make a speech, adressing what had happened to father, and about what kind of king he would like to be...

So, on the 29th day of Summer, Caspian Draconas was named High King of Ignis. He swiftly welcomed Anton to the podium to announcew him as advisor to the King, to which Anton tossed one of his familars to the sky and waved to the people. A few moments later, Caz welcomed Michael Opraxia up the stairs. When Michael had realised what was happening, he's slowly made his way up and Caz instructed him to kneel. Michael was knighted, his dream all of his life becoming a reality.
And so, after people began to leav the front yartd of the castle, celebration continued both in the street and in the castle. Caz and the party alongside some friends such as Elias Quill took to eating and drinking. Axel took to pouring paint over Caz with Kallie, Caz took to seeking out Beau who was sure to remind him that they would be friends in either Caz's dreams or nightmares and nothing more, and Michael was sure to thank Caz again, making it clear that he didn't need an oath to fight for him.

Many headed to rest for the night, Gore making note to leave early. He strolled through the stone district where he smiled at the fact a boy and father he saved some time ago were enjoying the fireworks.
When morning fell over Faclon Claw, many headed to wrap up some tasks. Zilla "stole" fine, silk bedsheets to replace Ginny's ones he tore up amidsts his nightmares before heading into Estorra to speak to the gnolls in hoped of them being able to help Kallie. Anton met up with Jameson Pitchewll, the high scholar as the figureheads of Ignis prepared to leave. Together, they made a stop in The Air Plane with Jameson's daughter and guard, top talk, and offer a quick way home. The nnew advisor then met up with Axel to celebrate the gran opening of the Sapphire Academy of Brilliance, and enlist teachers in the city. Gore headed to Estorra where he invited "The Depressed one", Kallie, to tea with him. Kallie would come close to crying when she realised tea was with Zemi from the orphanage. Beau and Ginny spent some time together, where they talked and Ginny admired some of Beau's sketches and art in the sewers.
Caz however, changed the course of the day after a mishap attempting to us the Ingolan Crystal to teleport. He appeared somehwere, humid and thick with heat. In a rainforest surrounded by orcs. They quikly began to bow, as some ritual was happening around the monolith. Caz would go onto to learn there were human sacrafices in the village and called upon his friends to help. Anton and Axel were quickly there and Anton acted as trranslator, and Axel as support. They challenged the tribes leader to stall while others arrive, and so Caz would brutally beat up Chief Skull Splitter of Zindar. Zilla arrived and quickly took on the orcs guarding the sacrafices. Beau and Ginny arrived soon after.
Meanwhile Valerian headed for Falcon Claw to cath up with Lillith who seemed a little dejected after her brother's ascendancy to the throne. He sat and played his flute while she played the piano and they spoke quietly, enjoying one another's company.
When the many sacrafices were saved, Zilla offered a place they would be safe and showed him the safe haven he was working on under the Dream Tree in the Wild Woods. Joren Whatley and another adventuring party had been working hard to build and there was a tavern, a tower, and adventuring guild and more in progress. Caz returned to the castle where he announced to Lance that he would become High General, and had a tense conversation with his sister about their brother. She had never given a note from him to the baker girl he was in lovew with... Axel had headed out to explore beneath the dream tree, and not too long after, so did Anton in search of the Dream Pool, a unique pool each circle seemed to govern with ancient and powerful magic.
When Anton arrived, Axel had joined him. The planeswalker waded into the water before letting his entire body walk into its dark depths. When he did, his mind was pulled from the lake and into a dark, stone building, ancient and decaying. Across from him, sat a beautul, specrtal dryad, who softle smiled at him... Valeria, the woman from Gyra Anton had loved.
