Adder's Tongue

The Adder's Tongue is a unique plant with a singular leaf, well known to be used for fighting infection. It does not appear on any continent besides Ignis howerever, thriving in the Ignian plains. It may ocassionally grow on the Northern sided of Ultarn.

This plant is of unique shape, curved over, with its single leaf.

The plant grows to be about three inches from the ground, and sprout a singular large leaf. It's appearance giving it its name.

These plants utilise asexual reproducuction to spread in large fields.

Growth Rate & Stages

These plants grow rather commonly in plains, but it will be difficult to find them spreading quickly in the colder seasons.

Ecology and Habitats

These plants thrive in warmer weather, but can ocassionaly appear in the Winter and Autumn seasons. They grow in the Ignian plains much like a weed, spreading quickly and efficiently.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

The Adder's Tongue is usually used in balms to help infaction. It burn's much like a poisonous snake bite, but draws out infection.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

These plants grows in small groups in open plains, much like clovers do in the spring.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

These are green in coloration so are often mistaken for weeds. Sometimes in the sring however, their leaf is tinted with a sunset fade from yellow to orange.
