Potion of Resistance

Potions of Resistance or Resistance Potions are a form of potions that is able to give its imbiber resistance to a certain type of damage done by creatures or effects. These potions are loved by Gnoll Shaman's who produce them in large quantities as the need to resistance is an extremely useful defence against the many monsters on Tenebris. Poison and Cold are the most made by the Shaman's as the creatures that stalk the Dark Plains are ether resistant to other creatures’ poisons or resistant to the cold winters of Tenebris. Besides those, almost every form of damage can produce a potion, though the basic damages done by weapons like Slashing, Piercing or Bludgeoning are unknown if they can produce a potion.

Mythos

It is believed that Potions of Resistance were created by a freak experiment done by the Gnoll Shaman's during the time of their Golden Age. When the Gnoll's power was at its highest, the horrific creatures of Tenebris become nothing more than sport for Gnoll packs that gave new materials for Gnoll Shamans to experiment with. They would find out that the blood of creatures can give a Gnoll the ability to resist forms of damage, allowing hunting parties to fight against the many monsters in Tenebris without heavy losses.

Effects

Upon drinking a Resistance Potion, the creature gains resistance against a damage mattering on the type of potion. Damages that can be turned into a potion are Acid, Cold, Fire, Force, Lightning, Necrotic, Poison, Psychic, Radiant and Thunder, though some are harder to find then others. It is unknown if Slashing, Piercing or Bludgeoning can produce potions as not many creatures have those damages in their blood.

• 1x Thristle Branch
• 1x Vial of Blood (Blood must be from a creature with sometype of resistance)

Acid Resistance Potion

Ingrediants Instructions

1. Light up a small fire undeneath alchemy equipment.
2. Fill a vial with a three quaters of water that will be needed to allow the user to drink the potion.
3. Before heating up the water, add the vial of blood to the water and stir it.
4. Heat the water and blood to the right tempature while still stirring them. Allowing the blood of the creature's resistant to now be consumed.
5. Stir until the water is now the crimson colour of life.
6. After a few minutes, add the iron shavings to the red liquid.
7. Allow the iron shavings to melt into the liquid and form iron waves dividing it and the blood. This helps harden the skin and body to take in the blood, and not cause metallical poisoning.
8. While allowing it to settle, crush up the thristle branch. This will allow the blood and iron to be mixed together.
9. Place it into the vial and start stiring all three materials.
10. Mix them until it turns into a into a dark green.
11. Keep an eye on it for the next hour until the material has been dissolved into the liquid.
12. After an hour, take it off the small fire and place the Symbol of Acid Resistance upon it.
