Potion of Giant Strength

Potions of Giant Strength or Giant Strength Potions are a form of potions that is able to harness the mighty strength of the Giantkin into liquid form that then modifies the imbiber's raw physical power to match the Giants might. This potion to the Gnoll Shaman's was viewed as extremely valuable as it was from one of their most hated enemies, the Giants. Many Gnolls only get to experience the effects of the said potion if a Shaman or Chief Shaman believed they were worthy enough to gain the effects. Each form of Giant Strength Potion was based of the many species of Giant, the strength of which follows the same social order the Giants followed without question. This potion's transparent liquid always has floating in it a sliver of fingernail from a Giant of the appropriate type. A small piece of paper would be stuck to the vial, with the Gnoll symbol for a Giant Strength Potion.

Mythos

To the Gnoll's, Giant Strength Potions are created to give them an equal advantage against their hated enemy. It is believed that the Gnoll species first figured out how to make these potions was before the Golden Age of Gnolls, back when the Giants devoured enter packs as they roamed the Dark Plains in large groups. The Shaman's at the time pleaded towards the Hyena God to help them in these dark times, to help them against his greatest enemy. That help was the knowledge of harnessing their strength through the means of alchemy, to take the very blood and nails of these towering humanoids to produce potions that will give the Gnoll species a chance to fight back. Once known and spread around the packs, Giants were slain in masses and then harvested to produce Giant Strength Potions and lead the Gnolls into the first ever Golden Age.

Effects

Upon drinking a Giant Strength Potion, the creatures’ muscles would expand almost within seconds as the body rapidly increases the creature’s natural strength. This form of strength matters on the type of Giant that was used in the creation of the potion, though this can lead to it not working on creature that match the same strength as some Giants. It has also been known to on extremely rare cases, become additive to Gnoll champions or hunters as the feeling of having abnormal strength releases dopamine into the brain that caused the Gnoll to keep wanting to reach that strength ether by potion or training.

• Handful of Grass
• 1 Ounce of Iron Speckles

Instructions

Hill Giant Strength Potion

Ingredients Instructions

1. Melt the 1 ounce of Iron Speckles in a bowl.
2. Pour the melted Iron Speckles on to ether the fingernail or toenail. Strengthening the durability of the nail.
3. Fill a vial with a three quaters of water that will be needed to allow the user to drink the potion.
4. Before heating up the water, add the vial of blood to the water and stir it.
5. Heat the water and blood to the right tempature while still stirring them. Allowing the life essences of the Giant to influence within the water.
6. Stop stirring and slowly place the now iron covered nail into the vial.
7. Once the iron covered nail is placed into the vial, quickly add the needed material that relates to the Giant species into the vial. This will now break the lock on the Giant's strength and allow it to be harness by the liquid around it.
8. Keep an eye on it for the next hour until the material has been dissolved into the liquid.
9. After an hour, take it off the small fire and place the Symbol of Hill Giant Strength upon it.
