Potion of Gaseous Form

Potion of Gaseous Form or Gaseous Form Potion are a form of potion that can turn the imbiber into a cloud of gas. The main use of a Gaseous Form Potion was to escape horrible situations specially when inside a building, as becoming a gas allows the imbiber to go through the tiniest of holes. An extremely uncommon potion for the Gnoll species, causing many to not even know about its existence.

Mythos

Being extremely uncommon potion for Gnoll society, there have only been rumours that packs that live within or around the Sorvon Swamp are able to change their forms into pure mist. Though packs that are from the Sorvon Swamps have normally always been isolationist, not sharing the secrets they have learned within the swamp, making many believe that the Gaseous Form Potion is one of those said secrets.

Effects

When consumed, this potion can transform the imbiber's body, along with all their carried equipment, into a transparent and insubstantial sluggish cloud of gas. While in this form the imbiber can only be harmed by magical attacks. The gaseous form can squeeze through anywhere that is not airtight. These effects last up to an hour and are very close to the spell Gaseous Form where the potion gets itself name from.

Ingredents

• 1x Swamp Stink Weed
• 1x Air Elemental Essence
• 1x Vial of Gas

Instructions

Ingredent Instructions

• Light up a small fire underneath alchemy equipment.
• Place the Vial of Gas upon the small fire on low heat.
• Crush up the Swamp Stink Weed and place it within a vial of a quater water.
• Mix the water and the Swamp Stink Weed slowly together until mixed perfectly.
• Slowly with a glass straw pour the mix into the Vial of Gas, be on the ready to close the vial when done.
• Wait 10 minutes to allow the Gas and Weed Water to separate with the Water at the bottom and Gas at the top.
• Once this has happened, use the same glass straw to help the Air Elemental Essence enter the vial before closing it up for good.
• Give it four shakes to mix all three materials within the vial and place back on the alchemy equipment on low heat.
• Near the 50-minute mark of waiting, check to see if the gas has turned liquid like. If, not then shake it two more times before leaving it for the rest of the 10 minutes.
• After an hour, take it off the small fire and place the Symbol of Gaseous Form upon it.
