Oil of Etherealness

Oil of Etherealness or Etherealness Oil are a form of oil that when applied to a creature, gives them the effect of the spell Etherealness. Used to travel into the Plane of Ghosts, this oil is prized for those wishing to understand or experience the land of death without dying. An almost legendary item, it is the only way a living person can understand the home of the spirits.

Mythos

For Gnoll society, the Etherealness Oil is almost a legendary item that allows Shaman's to enter the Plane of Ghosts without dying themselves. It is said that once in their Golden Age, these oils were created in mass back when Shaman's were able to pass within and without of the Plane of Ghosts with ease. In modern times the oil has become a myth or legend, told to Shaman's to remember the Golden Age of Gnolls in hopes that one day a Gnoll is able to find a way to reproduce these oils for them to use again.

Effects

When applied for 10 minutes upon the person, along with their equipment it's wearing and carrying. They will fall under the effects of the spell Etherealness for an hour, and step within the border of the Plane of Ghosts.

Ingredents

• 1x Vial of Oil
• 1x Vial of Succubus Slavia
• 1x Vial of Essence of Ethereal Traveler

Instructions

Ingredent Instructions

• Light up a small fire underneath alchemy equipment.
• Placing the oil upon a low flame to began boiling it.
• Quickly add the Succubus Slava and Essence into the oil.
• Mix the three materials together until the oil becomes cloudy gray.
• After an hour, take it off the small fire and place the Symbol of Etherealness upon it.
