Petralumen Gem Growths in Tritanix 3 | World Anvil

Petralumen Gem Growths

Gem growths are found on many (but not all) members of the Petralumen species. Some people never see any growth, while others have gems in many places. The gemstones don't grow everywhere though, as many places would be extremely inconvenient, or possibly even painful. Some places are more common to see them, such as the hips or shoulders, but unless it's marked as ‘never’, a person could technically grow gemstones there. The image below documents all the locations where a Petralumen could have gem growths, and the likeliness of them having them there. The darkest purple signifies the most common, the next darkest signifies less common, light purple signifies rare, and the near-white purple signifies places where the gems will never grow. The most common places are the shoulders and hips. The places that never grow gems are the inner parts of the arms, legs, and tail, most places on the head, hands, and feet, the chest, the butt, the crotch, and the tip of the tail where the hair grows.
