Using the new material discovered a few decades earlier, the Elvish craft a weapon used to fell trees in ways never thought possible.

The rate at which the construction of Erysea was being conducted worried the Elvish tribes, what could be considered an early form of their superior intellect perhaps. To this point, people had been hesitant in using the new material during labor due to its sharp edges injuring those who tried to utilize its capabilities. However, a group of Elvish hunters proposed they do something similar to that of the spear they had invented a few centuries earlier - and after a few months of repeated failures - the worlds first working axe was crafted.
