The First Buried Dead

The first of the second Tiefling generation pass, and the worlds first meaningful death occurs. Unlike other species, however, the Tiefling proceed to bury their dead and perform a good-bye gathering of sorts.

The first of the younger Tieflings to have first arrived passes in the midst of the night, and unlike the deaths before them - this Tiefling did the most to keep the species alive on those first few harsh years. Upon their dead brethren's discovery, all of the Tiefling gather at the sandy dunes which they call home to perform a burial of sorts. In doing this, the earliest form of ceremony celebrating the dead's passing is conducted - and a new tradition is created amongst the Tiefling people, one of mourning, sadness and respect.
