During a feud between Dwarves, a jagged stone is used in an effort to defend oneself, and the worlds first tool was born.

Two Dwarvish brothers, at which time remained nameless, where known to feud over every small thing. Although the two never resorted to violence to resolve a conflict - on this day they did, one of them took a blow at the other Dwarf. The one who had been attack was thrown to the floor, and in retaliation grabbed a near-by jagged rock and began to beat the other Dwarf with it. After a few blows to the arm that had hit him moments before, the dwarf stood victorious above his brother - and in that moment the worlds first weapon had been born.
