When the Elves at long last return home, they are met with cheer, wonder, confusion, and hundreds of frost-bitten Elves.

The Elves return to their tribe is initially met with cheer and relief, as the extra hands are very much needed in this trying time. As the Elves tell the stories of the Great Storm from up north amongst the comfort of their Human hosts, the Elves begin talk of potential relations with the North. The Humans, whilst at first superstitious, are also allowed to assist in the aiding of the sick after a few weeks - and in no time at all are almost regarded in a manner that would suggest they had lived there all their lives.
