The North enjoys a positive reputation with Azillia due to King Vrom having aided it's king in a previous civil war.
The Tryperians are wary of the prospect of yet another upstart empire threatening their holdings to the north.
Because they are no longer allowed to wage wars for land and plunder among each other, many of the kings and earls of the Dragon Men have pressured Vrom to open up campaigns in Veria and the Blacklands.
"Why not invade the north? Because to attack the northmen on their own ground is to fight the north itself, to break on shields of snow and spears of ice." -Tryperian General

Great article! One thing though. You titled this article "The Kingdom of the North, The". Is the last "The" in the title of any significance or was it a mistake?
That's a fairly common formatting convention.
It's THE Kingdom of the North. It's done in an effort to keep everything starting with "The" from falling under "T" when alphabetized.
Oh, I understand now. Thanks for telling me. Now I know an new trick.
