Fomorian
Fomorians are the primitive people of the northern regions of the North. They can be found in the High-North as well as in small pockets in Thul and Albion.

Fomorians speak their own primeval equivilent to a properly formed language.
Shared customary codes and values
Fomorians are a backward people lacking metal work and agriculture. They subsist on hunted meat, fish, and scavenged vegetation.
Average technological level
Fomorians are a primitive race without the ability to work metal or grow their own food. Their need to use flint knapped and bone tools and weapons has gained them the pejorative name of "Bone Slingers." However certain chiefs may carry poorly maintained metal weapons stolen or scavenged from other cultures.
Common Dress code
Fomorians dress entirely in furs and small bits of leather cords and lashings they have managed to tan or otherwise treat.
Art & Architecture
Fomorians are known to paint simplistic scenes and designs on rocks and tattoo their own bodies with similar marks.

A Fomorian boy must complete a solo hunt.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Because of their nomadic nature the disposal of the dead is of minimal concern to the Fomorians. The dead are usually wrapped in a sheet of woven grass and left on a pile of stones or a wooden platform as an offering to the spirits.
Common Taboos
To waste food or hide the spoils of a hunt from the tribe is considered a transgression.

Courtship Ideals
Courtship among Fomorians is backward and primitive, with the strongest warriors reserving the right to claim brides for themselves and loyal men.
