The Demon Lord, Azear, wants to take over the Kingdom of Dramthal before Trilla's Fern blooms and is having difficulty geting it using his demon hordes because the Court of Miracles holds a protective spell over Materium to prevent demons and devils from entering Materium. Azear seeks to use Trilla's Fern in a ritual to bypass the protective Fey magic.
