Vimary
Description
Vimary is the home of the Nation, the Olympus Keepers (and their offshoots), several small squat tribes and the Fallen. To the south, east and west are the Outlands, while to the north is the Z'bri stronghold of the H'l Kar. The area is made up of several islands in the middle of the Great River, which form seven distinct regions.Regions
Bazaar
This is the centre of the island in terms of population and activity. It is the heart of the Nation, with a majority of Tribals living here and all of the Fatimas, barring Baba Yaga and Eva, having their main residence or temple here as well. World Before ruins abound and have often been adapted by pragmatic Tribals. The region also includes the Sunken City and the island of Hom along the southern shore.Great Hill
The Great Hill rises steeply above Bazaar in the north, brooding over the heartland with forested and sombre majesty. It is the highest peak on Vimary and provides the several Joanite towers on its ridge with an unrivalled vantage point across the Discarded Lands up to the Seven Fingers. Its dense canopy is broken up by countless trails and glades where World Before ruins peak above the gnarled roots and mossy earth. The mountain is a spiritual place, where both the dead and spirits can be heard if you listen closely enough. Mystics from most of the Tribes will often travel here to escape the noise and distraction of Bazaar and conduct important rituals. On its western flank is Mortuary and the Grave Fields, which are the home of the Yagans and their Fatima but the tribe ranges throughout the region, both pondering and guarding its many mysteries.Lai islands
Lai is a collection of five islands in the south wester corner of Vimary. Populated almost entirely by peaceful if growing Evan villages, it is the heart of their far flung and numerous tribe. At its core is Sanctuary, the home of Eva the Mother Herself, but the four other islands are Ezzim, Delai, Roth and Sunblessed. Bounteous and given over entirely to either farming or forageable wild land, the islands bloom against the will of the seasons, thanks to the blessings of Eva, and yield food for the Nation almost year round.Discarded Lands & the Hunting Paths
