The Order of the Wanderers

One of the bigger Knightly Orders, the Order of the wanderers is one which many Noble youths join at some point in their lives. Officialy they are an order of adventurers, set out to deal with any rampaging Monsters or threatening hedge wizards in the various provinces of the oligarchy, riskinglife and limb in a valient defense of the realm. In practice, it is traditional for a house to send a number of Serf s or House military with their adventurous youths. These additional individuals are often the ones taking the true risk to themselves while the nobles give "guidance" from the rear, usually atop a very fast horse.
