Followers of the god of death, Carrijon, this sect takes a more calm and somber route than their more militaristic counter parts, The Stricken. This group are made from those who consider themselves doomed or damned for one reason or another. They accept this fate and embrace death as a whole. Most Nobles that join this group often do so as a penance for perceived failings or sins. Since they already consider themselves damned, they often are willing to venture into deadly or dangerous areas and fulfil their purpose. Each and everyone of the order is taught to seek knowledge and store it. Be it moral or dubious in nature, it does not mater to them as only the accumulation of holds importances
