The Great Race

The Great Race is held each year to honor Brair-Run , the tempestuous god. The event commemorates the mythic journeys of Brair-Run himself, who according to ancient lore, raced across the world laughing, diving into volcanoes, swimming through monsoon storms, and dancing atop the canopies of jungles. Wherever his feet touched the earth, over growing life spung up. Jungles grew overnight, rainforests breathed to life, and beasts were born from the mud.

To walk in his footsteps is not to dominate nature, but to surrender to it. To trust your instincts and embrace the wild nature of life, letting it guide you

To mimic this, a great race is held through an obstacle course through the rainforest. Each twist and turn filled with venomous wild-life, deadly overgrowth and hidden traps. The goal is to arrive at the other side unscathed and unharmed, mimicing the way the god would emerge each and everytime, no mater how dangerous the land
