House Dinn
Leader- Tai Dinn
Cadet Houses-
Economy- House Dinn controls a large portion of the internal waterways lf the oligarchy and a decent amount of influence over the seas surrounding it. This has resulted in a massive dominance in trade all over continent with only houses that have made agreements with them or minor houses that are too troublesome to force under their influence, such as House Nacioun, that trade with out them playing some role one way or another. This has resulted in a vast wealth that has built over the generations that they often loan out to other houses at a step level of interest.
Military- Most of the House's Military is water based, with large fleet of trading vessels and warships to protect them. Unofficially, these ships may also occasionally fly black flags and engage in a little piracy from time to time. This is an open secret as few have the influence or sea based man power to oppose them
History- Founded at the dawn of the oligarchy, House Dinns many ships were one of the main reasons the unification was so successful. Providing goods, transportation and naval prowess, ot is bo exaggeration to say that with out them, the oligarchy would bot be what it is today. Or at least that is the story they tell and fund via plays, manuscripts and art. Rumors however do exist on how they they were Mercenaries demanding a high price for their work, and that they betrayed their employers to take their lands and influence when they were at theit weakest. Either way there is o doubt that they are a major player in the world today, with theor leader spending vast amount of coin of odd frivolous projects that seem to be buying the attention of the other houses, but the question remains lf how long he can continue this behavior until he is over thrown, or House Dinn's legendary coffers are emptied.
House Dinn controls the seas and byways. Trade is their domain, and they protect it with ruthless efficiency. Their trade caravans travel vast distances, protecting the investments of the other houses. To lose one would be to tarnish their reputation.
