Freeholder

Freeholders come from Freehold and are all followers of the Unity. They take pride in their ignorance and scorn intellectual learning. A good Freeholder works hard at farming or a basic trade, doing their duty to support the priests. Everyone in Freehold knows that learning makes a person useless for living the life mandated by the Guidance: work hard, breed many children, and take care of the priests.
