Nenyo D'Alcatar

Nenyo D'Alcatar is a member of the powerful interplanar Elven merchant D'Alcatar house. He is the younger son of one of the First Kin, the heads of the house who meet to discuss policy and lead their particular branch of the family. Nenyo's history before coming to Detritus is somewhat uncertain, to say the least. Most citizens of Detritus have no resources to discover more about his past, and so the widely-known stories are the ones that filter through. He has brokered high profile trade deals on behalf of his house and personally guided a failing enterprise back to profitability, yes, but there is more to Nenyo D'Alcatar's story than meets the eye. Many of the Wayward Roost merchants see Nenyo's appearance on Detritus as the act of an enterprising young Elf keen to strike out on his own, but others, including tenacious Gnome journalist Lock Delger, believe that Nenyo is running away from something in his past. Lock has been a constant thorn in Nenyo's side, to the extent that Nenyo once had him arrested for trespassing. The question is whether he will take stronger measures if Lock does unearth something that could make him look bad.
Nenyo is running in the upcoming Mayoral election on a platform of rapid expansion and privatisation to increase the wealth of the people of Wayward Roost. He is fully expecting to face the current incumbent, Krabash Zo Kurr, but as rumours swirl about Krabash stepping down from the post, he is growing surer of his chances of winning. How he will react to Kurri Karrash, Krabash Zo Kurr's daughter, running, is anyone's guess, especially as the two have had conflicts over the years.
