Creation Myth

Imir used to be a mortal. A person of unremarkable origin, a fisherman like his father, and his father before him, living a simple life in a floating village, amongst the calm of the waves. Imir liked to travel, explore the small islands on the horizon of his village, and with his natural gift for directions, was always able to get home no matter how far his personal boat took him, using the sky as his map across vast the ocean.

Imir's first sign that something was wrong was when his maps had changed, as if a streak in the sky had been painted over with black paint, masking the stars above. The second sign was when the Moon next rose over the horizon, it was not the full Moon as expected, but a waxing crescent greeted him with a devilish smile. The sea stopped being safe, started being unpredictable. Waves as tall as buildings brushing too close for comfort, lost bits of the Moon crashing into the ocean, causing cataclysmic changes to the atmosphere.

A lot of people were lost.

For those that were hanging on, Imir wanted to do something, wanted to help, so did the only thing she knew how, they traversed the hostile oceans to gather those who survived. Imir's name became a whisper on the winds, across the world people heard of Imir the Starbound, who's ambition for her people to survive outlasted the falling chunks of debris. With expertly crafted maps, all who wanted safety were led to to Imir's Ark, who led them through the vast void, leaving their dying home behind, and Imir becoming more than a simple fisherman, but the last hope of all aboard her Ark.

Migration Myth

With her dying home left decaying, and as many as she could take on Imir's Ark, the stars still guided her way across the vastness of the void, the space between, searching for a place to house her people. Once meeting, the other Gods gladly took Imir among their ranks, neededing a skilled person in navigating the endless void, with her becoming the lead navigator on the exbidition to find a new home. Imir was the first to find Treastea, using Kiella's light, who she had become close to on their travels, to search the void, leading the now pantheon of Gods to their new home.
