Petor, seeing the evil in this act, Left the Syanova tribe and became an exile. Operationg underground, he found others in tribes and serfdom that agreed with him. Eventualy, he led a Serf Revolution, where serfs across the expasive relam refused to keep working for the Tribes, After repression and a year of famine, The tribes caved to the serf's demand, ad end to the warring tribes. An Iaminorian Republic was formed, tribes becoming alsmost powerless overnight as pesantry began to elect the previously exiled tribe members. Petor Mhikain led the new Republic of Iaminor.
In the years during the war, a faction of nationalistic senators unified under a new goal: a strong, centralised goverment under a single autocrat. Their goal began with the repression of tribesman, blaming them for the suffering of Iaminor before the republic. After another period of famine, and a push for powerful executive, the republic elected a poweful executve to deal with any uprisings. This king, charismatic and intellegent, managed to get the tribes and millitary to back him though his year in power. And in the following year, the Republic was dispanded, senators becoming fuedal lords.
The Tribes demanded one thing: the dissolution of the Iaminorian Millitary. Begrugingly, the Crown gave in, dissolving thier armies. In exchange, the Tribes of Iaminor would become the millitary force of Iaminor, as well as submit, willingly, to the crown.
In a rapid counterattack, The elves of Hoklathar banded together and began to siege Iaminor's Western Border. The Elven legions easily occupied most of the region west of the Hishal Mountains in a year, and began to move south. After the failure of the invasion, Iaminor's Mages began to research new magics in an attempt to gain an advantage. What they found shaped the future of Iaminor: Shadow Magic.
Shadow Magic Quickly changed the course of the war, Iaminor, Empowerd by the dangeous magic, faught back the elven forces to the arcane forests. However, around the time Pusenata switched sides, Iamior Began to loose. By the end of the war, they had lost the Northern Peninsula they had gained, as well has a ruined economy. Somehow, even worse than that, the use of shadow magic began to rear its price - Tribesmen who used it began to go mad, and pockets of Iaminor began to becme corrupted by shadows...
In 1786, Iaminor recived a visit from the Emperor of Ufanium, offering both Neloc, as well as members of the powerful Illido to fight the shadowfell, for the Tribe's Support in thier Invasion of Pusenata.
