The World Dragons

Separate and, perhaps, older than the Triptych Pantheon, the World Dragons are thought to be the oldest draconian beings on the continent of Terra Prime. A loose cabal comprised of four Ancient Dragons, none of the World Dragons have been seen in the most recent age, with the exception of an appearance of Bala’zar in the final throes of the Waste Conflict.

Each of the four great dragons are thought to reside in a specific area of Terra Prime’s landscape, and it is common for the Terran societies near the, to revere and worship the dragon closest to them as a deity.

The four World Dragons are:

Bala’zar, the Burning Void, who is thought to reside in the volcanic range of Bala’zar’s Spine in the Red Wastes

Quivur, the Glass Tyrant, thought to live beneath the Floating Desert

Chime, the Light Beacon, thought to reside deep in the heart of the Impasse

Vummut, the Architect, whose resting place is lost to time

These four are considered the patriarchs of dragon kind in Terra Prime, and legend states that after many battles with each other, hundreds of years before the current age, the four struck an uneasy truce in the place where a or Benefius now resides, and settled into their respective territories to sleep.

The World Dragons sired many children who still roam Terra Prime, and though lesser in power than these four, they still present great threat or great protection to Terran society.
