Player Options
The peoples of Totalis Terra (known as Terrans most simplistically) are diverse and varied, and the player character options in the campaign are designed to reflect that! When making a new character, follow your imagination and know that the rules will follow, as the restrictions on character creation in this campaign are very minimal. When in doubt though, ask the DM!
In general, the only material not permitted as part of character creation is the following:
That's it! All other DND 5E established content is available for use. If you aren't sure if an option falls into one of the above categories, ask the DM! If there are options listed above that you would strongly like to use, talk to the DM about how to incorporate an option or something matching to the concept you are seeking in the campaign, and it can likely be added to House Rules. Character creation and management is done through D&D Beyond- upon joining the campaign, you will be given a link to join on D&D Beyond as well, which will give you access to all subclasses, options, and materials purchased by the DM on the site- which is almost all of them! This makes character sheets and keeping track of rules easy for everyone!
All established DND 5E classes and subclasses that do not fall in the above mentions are fair game! In addition, the DM has some expanded class options that were homebrewed for use in this campaign, that will be listed below, along with notes about additional class options:
- Playtest material - this means that One DND material, Unearthed Arcana, and homebrew/DMs Guild content not create by or officially-instituted by the DM won't be used, primarily for easy of play and respecting the current established balance of the game.
- Alternate setting specific material - this primarily pertains to character creation options that are specific to established DND 5E settings such as Ebberon/MtG settings, Wildmount/Critical Role setting, or other out-of-established universe setting options, as they may conflict with established rules/class options or not make as much sense in the world of Totalis Terra.

- The Sorcerer Class has expanded options for subclasses in light of some of the changes seen in the Abberant Mind and Clockwork Soul subclasses. The DM has created Expanded Sorcerer Subclasses by adding expanded spell lists to the older subclass options, so make sure you check with the DM for access to the Expanded subclass version in DND Beyond.
- The Gunslinger fighter subclass from Critical Role Erratta, as well as the Blood Hunter class, are available for use in this campaign.
- Custom Warlock Patrons are potentially available if you have a strong theme or idea based on the world of Totalis - check with the DM for details.
