Kyrøn, God of the Day

Thought to be the mightiest of the Triptych Pantheon gods, the Day Lord Kyrøn is worshiped as the Bringer of Light and the stalwart protector of humanoid life on Terra Prime. Seen as a benevolent god who uses his power to support, shelter, and advance Terran society, the Day Lord is depicted as a human-seeming male in bright silver armor, wearing a crown and holding a massive tower shield emblazoned with the symbol of a sun.
Those who follow the Day Lord worship the light and seek to bring it to darker places and times, and see his allowance of the development of technology as a gift to the world that must be used to exalt him, much to the opposition and chagrin of followers of the Goddess Omera. Most peoples and nations in Terra Prime worship the Day lord in some way, whether actively or passively, and "may he light your way" is a common colloquialism spoken in reverence to Kyrøn as a pleasantry.
Unlike other ethics of god worship in Totalis, worship of the Sun God is commonly institutionalized and incorporated into state power. Temples to the Sun God are found in nearly every major city, and monastic and clerical traditions following the Sun God are plentiful and often well-organized, making solitary worship and religious practice of following Kyrøn much more rare than is true of other diefic worship.
Key tenets espoused by followers of Kyrøn are as follows:

• Bring the light of life and mercy to all corners of Totalis.
• Support humanoid life with a stalwart heart, as bravery, justice, and mercy toward your fellow humanoids is virtuous.
• Technology and magic are gifts from the Sun God and should be explored and advanced for the good og humanoid life.
• Humanoid existence is the highest among the world, and takes precedence and importance over the beasts and creatures of the natural world.

While the Temple in Cor Benefius dedicated to the Day Lord is ornate and magnificent in its own right, the Sungod Keep in Raspitonha, which comprises nearly half the city, is considered the greatest monument of Kyrøn ever built by Terran society.
